For the children...

For the children of Israel, the end of daily manna must have been a relief. They had complained in the wilderness about the monotony of "Manna, manna, manna." An echo is heard in the words of William Douglas Queensberry, a British nobleman. He owned a home with a beautiful vista of the Thames River. Guests always remarked about the view, with which Queensberry had become bored. On one occasion he blurted out, "What is there to make so much of in the Thames? I am quite tired of it. Flow, flow, flow, always the same."
