David does personnel evaluations for a large insurance company by day. Evenings are spent playing piano and singing professionally. When his friend Louise died he was invited by her family to sing at her memorial service. Before singing he told those gathering of his long and vigorous walks with Louise, and of the help she had been to him. To the casual observer driving the streets of Boston, Louise would appear to be a "bag lady," one of those homeless or eccentric persons who picked at the city's litter.
