To the dismay of the electorate, governing bodies often adjourn their sessions without having taken clear action. This year it was anticipated that Congress would act on major healthcare reform. What began as a seemingly concerted effort to work with one another in drafting a plan deteriorated into multiple plans based on the author's particular interest. Increasingly the question became less of how health benefits would be offered and more of who would receive coverage and "what if" they had this condition or that ... Some assert that healthcare reform is impossible.
