Dr. Robert Schuller tells of a lady in his church whom he calls Mom Schug. This name came about since she treated him like her only son, who was killed in World War II when a Japanese kamikaze pilot crashed into his U.S. aircraft carrier.
Dr. Schuller invited such a kamikaze pilot to speak in his church. He had been a member of the Japanese Air Force and had been converted to Christianity after the close of the war. Mom Schug said, "That's one thing I will not hear."
