I imagine the world could not hold all the records of discussions about the ascension and its meaning. There are those who speak in terms of "up" and mean "up," while others wonder where "up" can be, in a global world, and consider the matter spiritually. Still others wonder if these glories were not inventions of the early church in an effort to account for the lack of a body of Jesus. These grow skeptical while the "believers" see no problem and speak of a glorified body, etc., in an effort to get around the difficulties.
