The farm community was abuzz. One farmer told of a two-headed calf that one of his cows had birthed (it had been born dead). Many people didn't believe him and only would if they saw it. A steady stream of cars made their way to his barn that year.

Many of us demonstrate our belief in the unbelievable every day by buying into the latest fad diet, which promises that we can eat whatever we want, never have to exercise or change our life patterns, if only we follow the diet's wonder plan and buy the wonder products.
