G. K. Chesterton (1874-1936) always seems to have some provocative words for us. This poet, essayist, and detective writer was a lucid apologist for the Christian faith.
One of his arresting quotes was found one day in the margin of an old book: "The Christian ideal, it is said, has not been tried and found wanting; it has been found difficult and left untried."
-- Gilbert Keith Chesterton
-- Prescott
