God continues to work in surprising ways in the world. Certainly in our own lifetimes many of our older generations have witnessed how God seizes the opportunities for the benefit of creating God's own people. A remarkable little book titled, They Were There, was written by Arthur Van Dusen. Van Dusen noted the witness American GIs made during World War II in far corners of the earth that had been previously untouched by the Gospel.
