God's disgust with his people's filthy deeds was later mirrored by the disgust U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt felt for the greediness of the robber barons. His trust--busting legislation infuriated rich men, who couldn't wait for his term of office to end. When the president left office, he embarked on a big game safari in Africa. J. P. An unidentified trader on Wall Street put up a poster on the trading floor trumpeting a similar theme: "Wall Street expects every lion to do its duty."
