Hagar the Horrible and Lucky...
Illustration
Hagar the Horrible and Lucky Eddie were standing at the front door of a barricaded castle. Behind them were a dozen Viking infantry, one of whom had dragged a battering ram along. Hagar is saying to Lucky Eddie, "I don't think anybody is home." Lucky Eddie has been dutifully knocking on the door (the battering ram notwithstanding).
Overhead, unseen by any of the Vikings, boiling oil is descending from an overturned vat.
Sometimes ignorance is not quite bliss. The Sodom-and-Gomorrah set discovered that. And so must we.
