History tells us that Constantine endeavored to Christianize the Roman world. However, many of the emperors of Rome who followed sought to restore pagan worship. One such emperor was Julian, who lived from 331 to 363 AD. In fact, he was known as "the Apostate."
Emperor Julian marched with the Roman troops as they moved into Persia in 362 AD. He had his heart set on conquering the ancient Persian empire, and nothing could stop him.
The Emperor had a young aide who was a Christian. One day, Julian asked him, "What do you suppose your friend Jesus is doing today?"
