Horace has been bedridden now...
Horace has been bedridden now for over a year. His brain is shrinking, and no one knows why, or what caused this horrible condition. Still, he is not in pain, although from time to time he does have mild seizures. But there have been marked personality changes. To the consistent observer, Horace has been stripped of most of the learnings that marked his life. His college education and occupational skills were taken first: he could not remember his appointments, forgot clients' names and circumstances; then his notes became confused, disjointed, and he repeatedly forgot to make notes.
