I am not worthy to...

"I am not worthy to be baptized," the man told his pastor.
"None of us are worthy," the pastor replied.
"But I've been a bad man and now I'm dying of AIDS," the man protested.
"Do you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?" the pastor asked. "Are you willing to turn your sins over to Him through repentance?"
"Yes," replied the man, "Jesus is my Lord. I have come to see the error of my ways."
"Then what is to prevent you from being baptized?" the pastor asked. "Nothing."
At his funeral, the pastor spoke of the inclusiveness of the Lord. He spoke of the Gentiles being allowed into the church, Jesus' speaking to women and children, the demoniac named Legion, and the lepers whom Jesus welcomed into the Kingdom. "Jesus touched them one and all," the pastor said, "and He touched our friend here, too." There wasn't a dry eye in the church that day.
