I never thought about it...

I never thought about it before until I read about it, but being able to read Braille means that one can read in bed with the book beneath the blankets, thus keeping hands warm, and not bothering anyone else with a light. Louis Braille died when only 43 years old. Burial was in a quiet village of his native Coupvray. But after his contribution to society was recognized, his body was brought from Coupvray and buried in the Pantheon in Paris, along with other distinguished citizens of France.
