I struggle daily with sin...

I struggle daily with sin! I don't mean that little annoying sins creep into my life. I am saying that major stuff tempts me regularly! Every day I wake up and begin the morning by saying, "Lord, help me yield not to temptation." With God's help, sometimes I do really well. But often I fall short of what God expects of me. In our daily struggle, God provides spiritual resources to aid us. Jesus' life was sin-free. Therefore, God provided Jesus as a bridge to span the gulf between our sinfulness and heaven's perfection. When we accept Jesus into our lives, the wedge of sin that divides us from God disappears. That is called justifying grace. When we accept Jesus as our Lord, his perfection justifies our imperfect lives in God's eyes, and enables us entrance into God's heavenly kingdom. We are made righteous, not because of what we do, but because of what God does for us.
