I suppose most Christians have often looked to the heavens and wondered about Christ's ascension and his eventual return. A few have even spent lifetimes studying about the latter, often attempting to place dates on the "end of the world" and Christ's return to earth. The teachings of Christ, however, continually assure us that we are to spend little time thinking of such things and, instead, to concentrate on the present day, and the opportunities and responsibilities we have for the present.
