If we don't make plans for departure from this life, we can be left in a predicament similar to that of a young man who became stranded in an Alaskan wilderness. His adventure started in the spring of 1981 when he was flown into the desolate north to photograph the natural beauty and mysteries of the tundra. He had photo equipment, 500 rolls of film, several firearms, and 1,400 pounds of provisions.
