Is it possible to be a source of light and not even know that you are a possibility of illumination to others about you? Notice that Isaiah says, "Arise, shine." A lamp is a source of light, but it must be turned on before it can light up a dark area. Again, Isaiah says, "Your light has come," and that is the source within us. When we manifest the light of God from within us, others will eventually be attracted, not so much to us, but to the source of our illumination. That is what happened when Jesus came into this world, and we are reflectors of that pure light.
