It was near closing time...

It was near closing time, about 8:45 p.m. The retail clerk was vacuuming around, hoping to leave promptly at 9:00 p.m. The clerk looked up and sighed angrily to himself, "Great, a street person looking for handouts." The bearded, head-to-toe in brown attire man was probably around 55 to 60 years old. His belongings were in a grocery cart. He entered the store, dragging the cart with him. "Sir," the clerk snapped loudly, "you need to leave that cart outside!" without a word in reply the man raised his hand in agreement and pushed the cart back through double doors outside.
