Most of us stop short of the meaning and understanding of the Ugly Duckling story. Most of us think that the deep meaning is that this poor little creature, having been rejected by so many for so long, turns out to be a swan. Apparently this sounds very good. We can also thank God that he finds himself and his true identity and lives happily everlasting IN THE STORY.
