The leaders of a church decided to remove the steeple from the church. The steeple was in need of repair and the church leaders felt that they didn't have enough money to have the work done. One of the church leaders was upset with this decision. He felt that every church should have a steeple, and that the steeple should be taller than any building, and that on top of the steeple should be a cross. The cross should be for all to see as it is a visible sign of God's love. How much does God love us? The cross gives us the answer and reminds us of that love.
