A local church produced a brochure about itself with the caption, "The Church with the open doors." Unfortunately, in the picture that was on the brochure, the church's doors were closed! What irony! All around us we are seeing men, women, and children who are crying to hear the gospel -- but they are not always the sorts of persons we are accustomed to having in the pews beside us. Are we willing to respond to their persistent request? Are we able to recognize that their faith in Jesus may be as great -- or greater -- than our own?
