We hear a lot these days about advocacy.

A recently established federal bureau is known as Citizen Advocacy. It began as a means of legal assistance for senior citizens, especially the poorer and/or the disabled ones. It has been worthwhile to have someone speak for these older people at a time when some of them have been passed from one social agency to another because of bureaucratic red tape.
