Once a child asked me why we have church buildings. That's a very good question because a lot of what we do in church buildings we do in other places, too, like suppers and singing, loving and hugging, fighting and praying.

I guess we have church buildings as reminders that we do not fully understand God, Jesus, or even ourselves. Church buildings remind me of my sin as well as my salvation.
