Many children grow up being told the story of the Little Engine That Could, with his mantra of "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can." The engine knew that if he just worked hard enough and long enough, gave 110 percent, never quit, and never complained that eventually he would be rewarded. The story teaches our children to be hard workers and persistent in achieving their goals; and these are good qualities to teach our children.
