Emphasis Preaching Journal

Many of us have a deep desire to visit the Holy Land, to "walk where Jesus walked." The pages of the Bible come alive, one after another, and places become real. Stepping off the bus in Nazareth, the tourist knows that this is the Lord's hometown. He grew up here. His father had a carpenter's shop here. You can read a sign, "Mary's Well," and imagine Jesus as a lad drawing water from this well. In the center of the city is the Church of the Incarnation. A new edifice, it stands on the spot where there has been a church for centuries.
