Mark was out of state...

Mark was out of state for a church-related educational conference. Walking around the city late one evening he saw an "adult" gentlemen's club. He was lonely, he was tired and he thought that he deserved a little excitement. He had never done anything like this before, out of fear of being discovered, but also out of his sincere love for God and for his wife. But now, in a city where no one knew him ... what would be the harm?
He walked back and forth a couple of times. He thought to himself: "One time would be okay ... I could call it research to see how other people live their lives ... Who would know and who would care?" Finally, he went in, paid the admission price, then hesitated and walked back out to the street. "I just can't do this," he said to himself. "God, and my wife, my congregation, and I would be very disappointed. This is too slippery a path for me to ever walk on." And with that he went back to his hotel, checked out, and drove home.
