Max Lucado has a great line in one of his books, "I've never been surprised by God's judgment, but I'm still stunned by his grace" (When God Whispers Your Name, p. 52). I saw the power of this grace as the struggling married couple sat across from me. He had been unfaithful to his wife and the vow he took at their marriage. He had no excuse, and he had been caught.
