Most of the major airports...

Most of the major airports around the world have chaplains. While many of them do hold worship services in airport chapels, a far greater part of their ministry is informal: help for travelers and ministry of all kinds to airport personnel. With the millions of travelers passing through the world's airports each year, all sorts of things happen. If, for example, a couple is on a flight, and the man dies suddenly of a heart attack, it is the chaplain who is summoned upon landing to assist and comfort the wife.
