As most sixteen-year-old boys, I anxiously looked forward to getting my license and being able to drive without another licensed driver there to make sure I was doing things correctly. Finally, I would be able to go wherever I wanted; at whatever time I wanted ... I would be free! And then the day came. I got my license and I had a car. Freedom was mine. I was now free to drive safely, free to be home on time, free to run errands for my mom, free to be a good driver ... and I've been honing my driving skills for 36 years.
