In the movie "Blowup" a photographer takes a picture which, to his horror and amazement, yields clear evidence - especially when he enlarges ("blows up") the picture - that a murder has been committed. The photographer thus becomes an unwitting and unintended "witness" to a crime. The story leads us on his search for clues and the adventures - and peril - into which that single photo blow-up plunges him. Once he's become a witness to something extraordinary, there is no turning around and "doing a memory dump" (to borrow jargon from the computer age).
