Promises can be made and so easily broken. Sometimes between sunup and sundown a promise can be torn into shreds.
Virtually the same thing can be said about contracts. The court dockets are crowded with suits that were drawn up by persons who either broke contracts or want to break them. Just because it's in print and the pertinent parties have signed doesn't mean an official agreement will go unbroken!
