My father's been gone from this world for a quarter century now and I suppose it's all right to honor him briefly in print. Hundreds of the present readers could no doubt speak similarly about their own fathers. A pastor in the Free Methodist Church, Pa was faithful to his church and faithful to his family. Patient toward our mother, in close touch with all four of us boys, he was our faithful father with all naturalness about it. His basic faithfulness, of course, was to God. Every morning he gathered us for family prayers; every evening the same.
