Names can be a sensitive issue. How often have you been in the situation of needing to introduce two people to one another only to realize you cannot remember the name of either? To avoid embarrassment we'll say something like, "I'll just let you two introduce yourselves," and immediately excuse ourselves on some critical errand, or, "Surely you two have met," hoping they'll have the grace to introduce themselves. How many times have you been the person whose name has been forgotten? How did it make you feel? Or, how have you felt when someone called you by the wrong name?
