Nora had her grandson bring...
Illustration
Nora had her grandson bring her Christmas decorations up from the basement. As she
went through her decorations, she recalled that the Christmas before her husband of over
fifty years said that would be the last time he would be putting up decorations. His words
caught Nora and the rest of the family by surprise, unsure what he meant.
As it turned out, Luther was right -- he would not live to see another Christmas. Nora wondered how he knew. She was unsure if she wanted to decorate her house or if she had the strength to do so.
