Not too far from Milwaukee...

Not too far from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, there is a Catholic shrine called Holy Hill. It is perched atop the highest spot in the Kettle Moraine area, a formation of steep hills and rugged valleys formed by the retreat of the glacier in the last great Ice Age. From the top of the steeple, one can see for miles in every direction. Pilgrims and sightseers flock to the magnificent church atop this hill most every day in good weather, but especially in the fall, when the checkerboard of fields and forest lands are brilliantly painted, and cameras are evident in every hand.
