Sarah Palin placed on her website a map indicating the districts where liberal congressmen must be removed from office. There was a debate over the targeted districts being marked with the cross hairs or a bull's-eye and whether or not that contributed to the violence. In either case, it was hardly a passive gesture, but it was one that demanded aggressive action.
