Once, as a child, I was taken to visit a family farm. We children were sent outdoors to play, while our parents visited indoors. We played on swings behind the barn and then decided to play hide-and-seek in the large cornfield. The tall, late summer corn made perfect hiding places, and I was soon hopelessly lost, completely hidden, and very much wanting to be sought and found! I walked and walked -- the corn stalks seemed endless! At last I heard my father's friend call to us from the edge of the cornfield.
