The only act of apology...
Illustration
The only act of apology I know of in the Scriptures is in Acts 16:39. The town magistrates have imprisoned Paul and Timothy. Upon their release (which was proven necessary because of their innocence), Paul demands an apology, publicly and personally.
Yet, in this reading, and apology is going to be rendered by Israel for the piercing of their king. A call to repentance for their misbehavior will be in order.
