Our church had a class...

Our church had a class for high school students and there were perhaps 15 of us. Mary Lumley was there, not because she was in high school, but because nobody had any idea where else to put her at age 30 with her mental limitations. We didn't mind, Mary might be slow but she made no trouble and she could always recite the weekly "memory verse." We were studying the book of Job. Our teacher had brought excitement to it and the memory verse came from the weekly passage. Cecil McAlister wasn't so bright, either. He was two grades behind in school.
