Pastor Li was a mite of a man, but he carried a mighty message. When the people gathered to hear him preach the gospel, there were so many that they could not fit into any of the homes. So, they sat in the streets and between the houses. By the hundreds they would sit perfectly still -- men, women, children, and infants -- to hear the story of Jesus, "the news of the boundless riches of Christ." Such experiences were not without their cost.
