A priest once told a story about his friend from Erie, Pennsylvania, who had been to Dallas, Texas, to visit his brother. Afterwards, driving home he somehow got off the main road and became lost. Finally, out in the middle of nowhere he stopped to ask directions. The tiny house where he stopped was little more than a tool shed. Inside lived an indigent Mexican family, a mother and her two sons ages 12 and 16. The youngest boy, who was in a wheelchair, was almost completely paralyzed because of polio.
