The prime minister of Australia, Sir Robert Gordon Menzies, was running for re-election when, at a political rally, he was interrupted by a woman heckler. She shrilled, "I wouldn't vote for you if you were the Archangel Gabriel." Menzies retorted, "If I were the Archangel Gabriel, madam, you would scarcely be in my constituency."
Our God is neither so small, nor so small-minded. The entire world is the constituency of the Prince of Peace and the whole planet "will know his true greatness."
