A prisoner took his identical twin brother's place for several hours on death row in the Nebraska penitentiary before a prison kitchen supervisor spotted the switch. One of the brothers had been sentenced to death in the electric chair for the murders of two Omaha cab drivers, while the other was in prison on a burglary charge.
The brothers asked for and received permission for a private meeting. During that time, they switched clothes and escaped detection for a while. "Unless you saw them every day," said the guard, "you couldn't tell them apart."
