Rainbows have been the object of contemplation, questions, and stories from the beginning of time. It is interesting, isn't it, that rainbows are always in front of us and the sun always behind us -- always. It is also interesting that the lower the sun is to the horizon, the more of the arc we see, so that at sunset we see the full semi-circle with the top of the arc precisely 42 degrees above the horizon. What is even more interesting is that no two people can ever see the same rainbow.
