The reality of the 20/80 rule has been around for a long time. This rule says, "Twenty percent of the people in any given organization do eighty percent of the work." Or from another angle it's stated as, "Twenty percent of the people in any given organization create eighty percent of the problems."
Both of those rules seem to apply to churches in particular. Pastors often spend much time talking to each other about the twenty (hard-working) percent or the twenty (problem-creating) percent.
Jesus accepted reality and simply stated, "The workers are few...."
