Richard Wurmbrand spent fourteen years of torture and suffering in jail while the Communists ruled in Romania during the middle of the twentieth century. At one time, he found himself incarcerated with people who had heard him preach and who turned to Christ. One of his cellmates left behind a wife and six children, whom he might never see again. In his book, Tortured for Christ, Wurmbrand recounts a conversation he had with the man. He asked if the man had any resentment against him for being instrumental in his conversion and current situation.
