Russ, his wife, and his children all volunteer at the local food pantry where unemployed families and single parents go for food to make ends meet. Russ' family does this in response to God's grace in their lives. Russ was fortunate enough to have been born in a Christian home, attended a top-rated suburban public school, and gotten into the best colleges on the east coast. All that he possesses was by God's grace. As he looked at the families in old clothes, driving rusted cars, who have lost another factory job, signing up for food, he thought, "There but for the grace of God -- go I."
