Some religious sects and some telephone fund-raisers have a lot in common. They contact you at the most inconvenient times. They tell you less than the whole story. And, if you give the slightest appearance of interest, they let their entire organization know. Unfortunately, for many of us, our desire to be polite is often misconstrued as real interest. So, we are visited more frequently by the religious door-knockers and receive more phone calls from the "ABC State Troopers Association" than our friends and neighbors. What some people know instinctively, others of us never learned.
