Stan Jones, a candidate for the U.S. Senate from Montana, didn't know what he was asking for when he started drinking a silver solution back in 1998. Mr. Jones had started taking colloidal silver because he believed it would protect him from disease if Y2K disruptions led to shortages of antibiotics. However, Mr. Jones didn't realize that drinking this silver solution would turn his skin a blue-gray color. Although his condition is not considered serious, Mr. Jones certainly didn't know what he was asking for.
